Notes
'Jazz' apple (Malus domestica 'Jazz') is a tree for the food garden and for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. This apple is grown for fresh eating, and the fruit is sweet-tart with honey-like juice. It ripens in mid-season. White and pink flowers open in spring and bring bees.
Pairs well with Pink Lemonade blueberry, Rhubarb, and Garlic chives.
