Notes

'Jean Marie De Montague' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Jean Marie De Montague') is an evergreen shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and draws hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Plant it where its spring flowers can be seen.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Western sword fern, and Red trillium.
