Notes

'Jeannine' yellow trout-lily (Erythronium 'Jeannine') is a bulb for shade gardens, woodland settings, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows 12 to 16 inches tall and blooms in early to late spring with sulphur-yellow flowers. Bees visit the blooms. W.P. van Eeden bred it in 1984.

Pairs well with Red trillium, Western sword fern, and White Feather hosta.
