Notes

'Jingtaiwanzhuang' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Jingtaiwanzhuang') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It reaches about 79 inches tall with an upright habit, so it needs no support. Late in spring it bears fragrant, double, purple flowers about 6 inches across.

Pairs well with Polish Spirit clematis, Ostrich fern, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Cotoneaster.
