Notes

'Jolly Good' clematis (Clematis 'Jolly Good') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Light purple flowers with darker stripes and yellow stamens open in spring, summer, and autumn. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Little bluestem, Obsidian coral bells, and Jeana garden phlox.
