Notes
'Joseph Christie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Joseph Christie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white flowers have a faint yellow glow when they first open. Their form is a refined rose type. Strong stems hold clean, healthy foliage, and Reno Rosefield bred it.
Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, Prairie dropseed, and Black Hero tulip.
