Notes
'A.J’s. Choice' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'A.J’s. Choice') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears large, double red flowers in mid to late spring, and the well placed petals sit on good stems above dark green foliage.
Pairs well with David garden phlox, Star Gazer lily, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
