Notes

'Judge Berry' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Judge Berry') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double flowers open rose-pink and light pink with a lighter center. Bright yellow stamens show in the middle and in the collar. The blooms are fragrant and open early, so plan on a first splash of color.

Pairs well with Sedge, Grape hyacinth, Red twig dogwood, and Blue grama.
