Notes

'Jupiter' apple (Malus domestica 'Jupiter') is a tree for the food garden, grown for eating fresh. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Light pink flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. East Malling Research Station bred it in 1965. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second apple nearby for pollination.

Pairs well with Pink Lemonade blueberry, Tarragon, and Jerusalem artichoke.
