Notes

'Kelway’s Majestic' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kelway’s Majestic') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large blooms have deep cherry-red guard petals. Long, narrow ochre-yellow inner petals fill the center and turn lilac with silvered or gilded tones. It grows 33 to 39 inches tall.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Lungwort, Garlic chives, and Queen of Night tulip.
