Notes

'Kenshu-mon' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Kenshu-mon') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows up to about 59 inches tall, so give it room in the border. Chugai introduced it in 1932.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, September Charm anemone, and Niobe clematis.
