Notes

'Killarney Red' garlic (Allium sativum 'Killarney Red') is a bulb for vegetable gardens, kitchen gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It has an erect habit and grows at a moderate pace. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.
