Notes

'King Codro' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'King Codro') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are dark victoria violet, fragrant, and attract bees from early to late spring. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Pink Impression tulip, Minuteman hosta, and Weigela.
