Notes

'Kinsui' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kinsui') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single, blush pink flowers open at midseason and have a deep yellow center. Many blooms stand well above the dark, compact foliage, which makes good cut stems.

Pairs well with Dog's tooth violet, Ostrich fern, and Sedge.
