Notes
'Kitten Around' nepeta (Nepeta faassenii 'Kitten Around') is a fragrant perennial with blue-purple flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Flowers open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and into early autumn. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows 12 to 15 inches tall and spreads 21 to 24 inches wide.
Pairs well with Picture peony, Shrub rose, and Spanish bluebell.
