Notes

'Junior Walker' nepeta (Nepeta faassenii 'Junior Walker') is a perennial for borders, low maintenance beds, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Fragrant blooms appear in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Siberian iris, Yarrow, and Lanceleaf coreopsis.
