Kit Cat nepeta

Notes

'Kit Cat' nepeta (Nepeta faassenii 'Kit Cat') is a perennial for borders, edging, and fragrant plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches. Blue flowers appear in late spring, again from early to late summer, and into early autumn. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Blush peony, Maiden pink, Panicle hydrangea, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
