Notes
'Kolmakilima' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Kolmakilima') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast into an arching shrub that reaches 48 to 72 inches tall and wide, and its lime green to white blooms attract bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates salt.
Pairs well with Sensation lilac, Eastern columbine, and Western sword fern.
