Notes

'Kristin Lipka' Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Kristin Lipka') is a tree for borders and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. White blooms open from spring into early summer and attract bees, and the leaves turn color in fall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows slowly to about 7 to 9 feet tall.

Pairs well with Japanese maple, American holly, and Blue Chiffon rose of sharon.
