Notes

'Kuri' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Kuri') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears large, deep rose petals in a Japanese type flower form. The deep pink blooms open in early summer. R.H. Jones bred it.

Pairs well with False Solomon's seal, Sedge, and Smooth hydrangea.
