Notes

'Lady Derby' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Lady Derby') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The light blue-pink flowers are fragrant and open from early to late spring. Bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Delft Blue common hyacinth, Valerie Finnis Armenian grape hyacinth, and Blue fescue.
