Notes
'Lady Ley' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lady Ley') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large lilac-pink blooms open in early summer and reach about 30 inches tall. The flowers have a tulip shape when young and a large golden center. Kelway bred it.
Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Spotted dead nettle, and Spanish bluebell.
