Notes
'Lady Orchid' peony (Paeonia 'Lady Orchid') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). The rose-pink blooms have lavender shading and open in early to mid summer. Plants reach about 43 to 59 inches tall, so you may want to stake the heavy flowers. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1942.
Pairs well with Panicle hydrangea, Royal fern, Picture tulip, and Campfire rose.
