Notes

'Lady Sudeley' apple (Malus domestica 'Lady Sudeley') is a tree for a food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The dense tree grows at a moderate pace and opens blossom that attracts bees in early to late spring. Mr Jacob of Petworth bred it in 1849, and the fruit is grown for fresh eating.

Pairs well with Weigela, High-bush blueberry, and Anglojap yew.
