Notes
'Lagoon' downy clematis (Clematis macropetala 'Lagoon') is a vine for trellises, fences, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Small, pendulous, double lavender-blue flowers with white and yellow stamens open in early to late spring. It may bloom again in late summer, and attractive seed heads follow. Prune it as a group A clematis.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Campfire rose, and Little Beauty tulip.
