Notes
'Wesselton' downy clematis (Clematis macropetala 'Wesselton') is a vine for trellises, fences, and arbors. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. It bears blue flowers in late spring. The vine climbs to about 8 to 10 feet tall, so give it a sturdy support. Jim Fisk bred it.
Pairs well with Scentara Double Blue lilac, Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
