Notes
'Lan He No. 5' 5 tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Lan He No. 5') is a shrub for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows upright and reaches about 31 inches tall. Double, dark pink flowers open in mid to late spring and face upward. The blooms are fragrant, so they work well in a vase.
Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Sedge, and Wild ginger.
