Notes
'Lattarula' fig (Ficus carica 'Lattarula') is a tree for the food garden, grown for fresh eating, goat cheese and prosciutto pairings, and jam. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun. It does well in cool summer climates and gives yellowish-green figs with sweet, amber flesh that tastes like honey. Expect a big crop that ripens over about three weeks, so you may have plenty to share.
Pairs well with Artichoke, Tarragon, and Lingonberry.
