Notes
'Lavender Lotus' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lavender Lotus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. The slightly cupped, lavender pink single blooms have a double row of guard petals and red carpels. It blooms early and grows about 30 inches tall with thick, green foliage.
Pairs well with Dalmatian bellflower, Black Hero tulip, and Ostrich fern.
