Notes

'Leda' peony (Paeonia 'Leda') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant pink flowers have red streaks and dark flares, and they attract butterflies. Nassos Daphnis bred it.

Pairs well with Korean spice viburnum, Niobe clematis, and First Frost hosta.
