Notes

Limber honeysuckle (Lonicera dioica) is a vine for woodland gardens, pollinator gardens, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet, sandy or loamy soil. Red tubular flowers bloom in whorls and attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees, and you will see more flowers in full sun. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Birds feed on the red berries that follow.

Pairs well with Dutchman's breeches, Sensitive fern, and Common snowberry.
