Notes

'Little Dorrit' peony (Paeonia 'Little Dorrit') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The small, fragrant flowers are an unusual salmon color with bright red flares and light pink outer petals. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Saunders bred it in 1949.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Guacamole hosta, Picture tulip, and Blue grama.
