Notes

'Little Giant' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Little Giant') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, foundation plantings, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense, fragrant evergreen that gives winter interest. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Birds also visit it.

Pairs well with Wintergreen, Prairie dropseed, and Carlton daffodil.
