Notes

'Little Joe' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Little Joe') is a tree for use as a specimen or accent and for winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy soil. This evergreen has a conical shape, stays 9 to 12 inches tall, and attracts birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Mugo pine, Gro-Low fragrant sumac, Mount Hood daffodil, and Foxtail barley.
