Notes
'Little Lime Punch' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Little Lime Punch') is a shrub for borders, hedges, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers open lime green, then age through ivory white, pink, raspberry red, and wine red. Deer tend to pass it by. Bees visit the fragrant blooms, and you can cut some to dry for autumn displays.
Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Western sword fern, and American hornbeam.
