Notes
'Little Nell' clematis (Clematis 'Little Nell') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, privacy screens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. White blooms with mauve edges open in spring, summer, and autumn, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It reaches 8 to 12 feet tall, so give it a sturdy support.
Pairs well with Endless Summer hydrangea, Lily, and Switchgrass.
