Notes

'Little Odin' peony (Paeonia 'Little Odin') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Dark black-red single flowers sit one to a stem above finely cut foliage, and bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Wolfgang Giessler bred it.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Picture tulip, and Earth Angel hosta.
