Notes

'Little Red Mloko' peony (Paeonia 'Little Red Mloko') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. This dwarf peony grows about 12 inches tall on strong stems, and its fragrant dark purple flowers with red shading open early and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Galen Burrell bred it.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Black Hero tulip, and Sedge.
