Notes

'Lizzie Fawkner' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lizzie Fawkner') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Medium-sized violet flowers open in late spring with a white center streaked yellow. The upright bush reaches about 35 inches tall, and Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Tiger lily, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
