Notes

'Lohengrin' peony (Paeonia 'Lohengrin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double white flowers reach 7 inches wide, and the new leaves emerge red. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Michael Miely bred it.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Perennial candytuft, Carlton daffodil, and Prairie dropseed.
