Notes

'Lois’ Choice' peony (Paeonia 'Lois’ Choice') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers split into three bands of warm pink, bright yellow, and warm pink, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Chris Laning introduced it in 1993.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Clustered bellflower, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Blue grama.
