Notes

'Look at Me' astilbe (Astilbe rosea 'Look at Me') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It forms a tidy clump with fragrant blooms that attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Plant it where the foliage can show off its brown and copper tones.

Pairs well with Columbine, Fire and Ice hosta, and Western sword fern.
