Notes
'Lovely Day' peony (Paeonia 'Lovely Day') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows upright to about 90 cm (35.4") and needs no support. The double beige-pink flowers face upward and open late in the season. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Moonshine yarrow, and Limelight hydrangea.
