Notes

'Lovely Kay' iris (Iris 'Lovely Kay') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Columbine, Ice Follies daffodil, and Fragrant Bouquet hosta.
