Notes

'Lucy Dunn' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lucy Dunn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The big double flowers are light pink. They look best in bud and when half opened, and they are less attractive when fully opened. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
