Notes

'Lunar Glow' peony (Paeonia 'Lunar Glow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi double to loose double blooms open light yellow and fade to cream around a golden ring of stamens. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and bees and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Clustered bellflower, Carlton daffodil, and Switchgrass.
