Notes
'Lutescens' wych elm (Ulmus glabra 'Lutescens') is a tree for low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows at a moderate rate into a broad tree. It is drought tolerant once settled in, and it adapts to acid, alkaline, or neutral soil. Give it plenty of room to spread.
Pairs well with Yakushima Dwarf eulalia, Big Blue lilyturf, and Skimmia.
