Notes
'Madame Krelage' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Madame Krelage') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its white blooms brighten the garden and look good in a vase. E. H. Krelage & Zoon bred it in 1867.
Pairs well with Astilbe, Greig's tulip, and Prairie dropseed.
