Notes

'Magenta Chiffon' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Magenta Chiffon') is a shrub for borders, hedges, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows fast and tolerates drought and salt. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Arrowwood viburnum, and Border forsythia.
