Notes
'Magenta' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Magenta') is an evergreen shrub for borders, low hedges, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its dense, glossy leaves set off clusters of rich pink blooms with light pink centers. Hummingbirds and bees visit the flowers. You can prune it after flowering, and it grows slowly.
Pairs well with Japanese maple, American holly, and Ornamental onion.
